  • 1 lb. link sausage sliced 1/4 in. thick (any kind you like) I used Oscar Mayer Kielbasa (I bought a 3 lb. pack at WM last week for $7.98. I am using 1/3 = $2.66, BUT you can get 1 lb. Oscar Mayer turkey sausage for $1.93 at WM!)
  • 1 box Penne (or any short cut pasta...just change the name of dish!) FREE, see post, HERE)
  • 2 jars Bertolli pasta sauce ($1.30, see post HERE)
salad:
  • 1/3 head of lettuce chopped, $1.79/head = $.60, see post HERE)
  • 1/3 pint of grape tomatoes cut in half ($.66, see post HERE)
  • 1/2 cucumber chopped, ($.33, see post HERE)
  • Dressing for salad (FREE, see post HERE)
Garlic bread:
(4) Slices Walmart Bakery Garlic Bread ($.36)
**I buy the loaf off the "Oops We've baked too much rack" for $1.80 and put in freezer until we need it. There are about 20 slices, so it comes out to$.09 ea. and you don't even have to add the butter and garlic!!**

TOTAL: $5.91, or $6.44 w/tax!

  2. Drain sausage and add 2 jars pasta sauce, let simmer.
  3. Add drained, cooked pasta to meat sauce mixture.
  4. Make salad.
  5. Cook garlic bread according to package directions.
  6. Enjoy!
